What is Solea® Sleep?​
Solea® Sleep is a simple, quick, and comfortable 10 minute laser therapy that provides rapid relief to people who snore. Solea uses ultra-low laser energy to tighten/stiffen collagen in the soft palate, reducing vibrations or reduce the "vibrations" that cause you to snore. How does Solea® Sleep work for Snore Therapy?​
About 80% of people who snore are “palatal” or mouth snorers, which is snoring caused by the vibration of the soft palate tissue that has relaxed over time. A unique application of Solea’s specific wavelength allows the laser to gently and quickly tighten collagen fibers of the soft palate tissue in an initial 10 minute session. Is Solea Sleep treatment painful?​
No. The majority of patients report not feeling anything during the Solea Sleep procedure, while some report only a slight warm sensation. Before the procedure we apply a topical anesthetic spray to the soft palate to eliminate any discomfort or potential gagging. After treatment you may experience some minor tissue soreness or irritation that lasts about 24 hours.
How long do Solea Sleep results last?​
Solea Sleep results lasts on average 12 to 15 months. As with any procedure involving the tightening of elastic tissue, results are not permanent as collagen in the tissue naturally relaxes or loosens over time. To help maintain consistent long-term results, we recommend that the Solea Sleep procedure be performed about once a year. For this reason, we provide a discounted price for patients who schedule their annual visits within the 12-15 month window of time. See below!
Does Solea Sleep treat Sleep Apnea?​
No. Solea Sleep is not a treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), a serious health condition that involves partial or complete obstruction of the airway and reduced blood oxygenation levels. However, snoring is a major symptom in undiagnosed or diagnosed sleep apnea patients, and Solea Sleep treatment can provide significant relief from snoring and improvements in their quality of sleep.

What is the cost of Solea Sleep for Snoring relief treatment?​​​

Initial Solea Sleep treatment fee is $900 which includes 2 treatment visits that are scheduled 3-4 weeks apart.

Dominion Dental Spa Solea Sleep Loyalty Program: After initial Solea Sleep treatment, patients who schedule and receive treatment for their annual maintenance visit will receive a discounted price the following year as long as they are within the recommended window of time (12-15 months after last Solea Sleep treatment in our office). Our Loyalty Program for Solea Sleep is $400.
Prices may vary over time, but the annual maintenance visit will always be discounted if annual appointments are maintained.
